Philip Michael Rose is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, K7M 3N6, Canada. He is currently visiting Lecturer in Philosophy at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He specializes in the philosophy of nature and the problem of freedom.
