Howard Moody, a contributing editor of Christianity and Crisis and senior minister at Judson Memorial Church in New York City, is known for his involvement in a host of struggles for progressive social and legal changes, especially women’s rights and health care. He was among the champions of women‘s legal right to abortion in the 960s and 1970s.
